How to Update About You Details
When you’re just getting started with ProjectionLab it’s important to make sure your About You details are correct since they impact the plans you build and future projections.
Updating About You Section
When you first go through the Normal Walkthrough you will be asked to input details like your birth month and year. Made a mistake or need to change something? No problem! You can click Current Finances on the left side of your screen > click About You.
What can you update in the About You Section?
Individual vs. Couple
Choose how you want to plan – either as an individual or as a couple. ProjectionLab will show if you are currently planning for yourself or planning for a couple.
If you want to change your planning, click on the text and change from As an individual to As a couple or vice versa.
Birth month & year
ProjectionLab doesn’t require your full birthday, but in order to have accurate planning for life events, you can add your Birth Month and Birth Year.
Additionally, you can add your name or leave it as the default text, You.
If you are planning as a couple you will also have the same details to input for your Partner. You can add their name or leave it as the default text, Spouse.
Your location
Is your location incorrect? If so, you can update your country and/or state/locality here.

Your currency
Not using the right currency? You can update the Display Currency and Locale by choosing from a dropdown menu.
